Volunteers In Mission Team visits Kumi, July 9-16 2023

The motivation for this trip was Girl Scout Charlotte Chu, who chose to do her Gold Award project in conjunction with Kumi Christian Visionary School.  After fundraising and workshops conducted in Castro Valley, CA, Charlotte brought her whole family with her to Kumi to install a playground, train preschool teachers, and interact with students and staff on the campus.  Also joining the team were Aeri's niece and nephew, who added some art and science to the mix.  The team returned home with excitement and enthusiasm for sharing KCVS, and are already buzzing with ideas about how to supplement the school's academic and sports programs.
